Job Title: Head of Sales – Personal Care & Cosmetics

Novaris Search has partnered with an innovative ingredient manufacturer that offers a range of active & functional ingredients for skincare, sun care, hair care, and related industries. They achieved +27% growth in Europe last year, and as they expand, they seek a dynamic Head of Sales to support their growth efforts.
This role involves leading a sales team and devising strategies to sustain growth. The company aims to strengthen its presence in key European markets like the Netherlands, requiring someone capable of driving sales, acquiring new business, and opening new accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and oversee all sales activities within the UK, Netherlands, and other European markets (e.g., Turkey and Poland).
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies aligned with company goals to grow market share.
- Strategic Development:
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning.
- Collaborate with senior management on long-term strategies and budgets.
- Recruit, train, and mentor a talented sales team to ensure high performance and engagement.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation within the sales department.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key existing accounts.
- Actively seek new business opportunities to acquire new accounts.
- Monitor sales metrics and prepare regular reports for senior management, providing insights.
Requirements:
- Proven ability to generate sales in the personal care and cosmetics market.
- Strong experience selling active ingredients into personal care/cosmetics sectors.
- Experience launching products into European markets.
- Personable character.
