We are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Shipley.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 2:00pm - 10:00pm

The company manufactures and supplies specialist products to customers across a range of industries. This is a varied role combining warehouse duties with the use of a Counterbalance FLT to move materials and products safely around the site. FLT License is not essential but experience on a truck is - they are happy to provide training on site. You will also be responsible for locking up the site at the end of the shift, so reliability and trustworthiness are particularly important.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating a Counterbalance FLT to move materials and products around the site
  • Loading and unloading deliveries
  • Moving stock and materials safely within the warehouse and production areas
  • Picking and preparing materials as required
  • Supporting general warehouse and production duties
  • Keeping the warehouse and work areas clean and organised
  • Following all health and safety procedures
  • Completing any required paperwork or stock checks
  • Ensuring the site is secure and locking up at the end of the shift

Skills Required:

  • Previous experience operating a Counterbalance FLT
  • MUST have a UK Driving License
  • A current FLT licence is not essential, as on-site training will be provided
  • Good warehouse or manufacturing experience
  • Comfortable carrying out physical, hands-on work
  • Reliable and trustworthy

  • Able to work independently
