Our client is a well-established manufacturer supplying high-quality aluminium glazing products to customers across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Aluminium Processing Operative, with the potential for a Supervisor position for the right individual.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in aluminium window, door and curtain wall processing who is confident interpreting technical information and processing orders accurately. For candidates with the right level of experience, there is also the potential to be considered for a Supervisor position.
As an Order Processor, you will be responsible for accurately processing customer orders using industry-specific software, ensuring products are manufactured to specification and delivered on time. You will work closely with internal departments, customers and production teams to ensure orders are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
Processing aluminium window, door and glazing system orders.
Reading and interpreting technical drawings and customer specifications.
Producing accurate manufacturing information.
Liaising with customers and internal departments regarding order queries.
Ensuring orders are processed accurately and within agreed timescales.
Supporting production with any technical queries.
Maintaining accurate records and documentation.
Working closely with the wider team to meet customer expectatio
Supervisor Opportunity
Candidates with previous supervisory or team leader experience within aluminium fabrication or manufacturing environments are encouraged to apply, as a supervisory position may be available depending on experience.
Skills Required
Previous experience within an aluminium processing or order processing role is essential.
Strong knowledge of aluminium profile systems.
Experience using one or more of the following software packages:
Logical
Evolution
V6 (Smarts)
Experience working with Alunet, Reynaers and/or Smarts aluminium profile systems would be highly advantageous.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a busy office environment.
Confident using IT systems and Microsoft Office.
