We are seeking a dedicated Food Production Operative to join our clients manufacturing team. This role involves working within a fast-paced environment focused on the safe and efficient production of high-quality food products. The successful candidate will play a vital part in ensuring all food safety standards are met and maintained throughout the production process. Previous experience in food production or related fields is advantageous, but full training will be provided. Pay: £13.00ph increasing to £13.18ph after 4 weeks.
Working Hours: Sunday - Thursday 6am - 3:30pm. Must be available to work 6 days per week and weekends over busier periods. Overtime available.
Duties:
- Operate and monitor various food production machinery, ensuring smooth and efficient operation.
- Follow strict HACCP protocols and food safety guidelines at all times.
- Assist in preparing ingredients and assembling products according to specified recipes and standards.
- Conduct quality checks throughout the production process to ensure product consistency and compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Record production data accurately, including quantities produced and any issues encountered.
- Assist with stock control, including receiving, storing, and issuing ingredients or packaging materials.
- Report any mechanical faults or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
