We are currently recruiting for a Production / Assembly Operative to join a well-established manufacturing business with an excellent reputation for producing high-quality lighting solutions for commercial and industrial environments. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and is looking to build a long-term career within a supportive and growing business.
The Role
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday 8:00am – 4:45pm
- 30-minute unpaid lunch break
Working as part of the production team, you will be responsible for assembling electrical products to a high standard while supporting general warehouse operations. Full training will be provided; however, previous assembly or production experience would be advantageous.
Duties Include:
- Assembling products using hand and power tools
- Wiring plugs and completing basic electrical assembly work
- Following work instructions and production specifications
- Carrying out quality checks throughout the assembly process
- Picking and packing finished products
- Supporting general warehouse duties as required
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
- Working as part of a busy production team to meet daily targets
Skills:
- Previous production, assembly or warehouse experience is desirable
- Confidence using hand tools
- Good attention to detail
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Reliable with excellent timekeeping
- Able to work well independently and as part of a team
