Novara People are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Irlam, Manchester. Our client manufactures and refurbishes specialist metal products used within the commercial baking industry, supplying customers across the UK and internationally. This is a hands-on warehouse role and would suit someone who doesn't mind getting stuck in. You'll be supporting the wider team with moving products and materials, keeping the warehouse organised and carrying out general warehouse and housekeeping duties. Hours: Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4pm Moving onto SET shifts: 6am - 2:30pm OR 2:30pm - 11pm Duties Moving products and materials around the warehouse Helping to organise stock and keep designated areas tidy General cleaning and housekeeping duties Loading and unloading where required Moving items between different areas of the warehouse Supporting production and warehouse teams with materials Manual handling throughout the shift Clearing waste and keeping walkways/work areas safe Assisting with general warehouse duties as required Following all health & safety procedures Skills: Previous warehouse, manufacturing or labouring experience would be beneficial Comfortable with manual handling and physical work Happy carrying out cleaning and housekeeping as part of the role Able to work in a busy manufacturing environment Hardworking and willing to get stuck in Reliable and punctual Able to work independently and as part of a team Flexible to move onto either of the set shifts Safety boots are required
