We are currently recruiting for an experienced TIG Welder to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Halifax. With a strong reputation for producing high-quality, precision-engineered metal products, this is an excellent opportunity to join a growing company that takes pride in craftsmanship, quality and investing in its workforce. This role is ideal for an experienced TIG Welder who has a keen eye for detail, can work from engineering drawings and enjoys producing high-quality finished work. Location: Halifax, West Yorkshire Pay Rate: £14.57 per hour Job Type: Temporary to Permanent Working Hours Monday to Thursday 7:00am – 5:30pm 1-hour break (30 mins paid and 30 mins unpaid) Duties Carrying out TIG welding on a variety of metal components Working from engineering drawings and technical specifications Producing high-quality welds to company standards Inspecting completed work to ensure quality requirements are met Using workshop tools and equipment safely Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment Working closely with the production team to meet deadlines As part of the recruitment process, all successful applicants will be required to complete a practical TIG welding test. Skills: Previous TIG welding experience is essential Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings High attention to detail and pride in producing quality work Reliable with a positive attitude and excellent timekeeping Able to work independently and as part of a team
