We are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver to join a well-established industrial business based in Doncaster on a temporary - permanent basis. This is a varied, hands-on role working within goods-in and stock control, ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of physical work and responsibility. The business operates within a specialist industrial sector, supplying materials and equipment into engineering and infrastructure projects, so accuracy and organisation are key.
Role Description:
- Working within goods-in, receiving and booking in deliveries
- Operating Reach or Counterbalance FLT to move stock safely around site
- Carrying out stock control duties including stock checks, audits and inventory management
- Updating stock systems and completing basic admin tasks
- Labelling, organising and storing materials correctly
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Manual handling and heavy lifting on a regular basis
- Supporting with general warehouse duties as required
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
- Working closely with other departments to ensure stock accuracy and availability
Skills:
- Previous warehouse experience within a goods-in or stock control environment
- Confident operating FLT (Reach or Counterbalance)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting
- Basic computer skills for booking in and stock systems
- Organised and able to manage workload effectively
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
Qualifications:
- FLT Reach or Counterbalance licence (in-house licences accepted - refresher training can be provided on site)
- High visibility vest and safety boots required (can be provided by the agency if needed)
