Novara People are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join a busy warehouse and distribution operation based in the BD4 area of Bradford. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role primarily involving picking and packing customer orders and preparing goods for dispatch.

We're looking for reliable people who are comfortable working on their feet throughout the shift and can maintain good accuracy while working at pace.

Hours: 1:30pm – 10:00pm

Shift: Monday to Friday

Duties will include:

  • Picking customer orders accurately
  • Packing products ready for dispatch
  • Checking picked items against orders
  • Preparing and labelling orders
  • Moving stock around the warehouse
  • Sorting and organising products
  • Helping with goods in and goods out where required
  • General warehouse and manual handling duties
  • Keeping your work area clean, tidy and safe
  • Following all warehouse procedures and Health & Safety requirements
  • Working as part of the warehouse team to ensure orders are completed on time

Skills:

  • Previous warehouse, picking or packing experience would be beneficial
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy
  • Able to carry out manual handling duties
  • Reliable with good attendance and timekeeping
  • Able to work well as part of a team
  • Available to work the full 1:30pm–10:00pm shift
  • Able to start immediately
