Our client is a well-established business based in Shipley, specialising in the supply and distribution of products to customers across the UK. They operate a busy warehouse environment and are looking for an experienced FLT Warehouse Operative to support their day-to-day operation.
This is a hands-on role, so you will be expected to support with general warehouse duties as well as operating the FLT.
Hours:
Monday to Friday, 11:15am-8:00pm whilst training.
Duties
- Operating a Counterbalance FLT safely within the warehouse
- Loading and unloading incoming and outgoing deliveries
- Moving and locating stock throughout the warehouse
- Picking and preparing orders for dispatch
- Stock replenishment and organisation
- General warehouse duties
- Manual handling of products
- Checking goods and orders for accuracy
- Maintaining a clean and organised working environment
- Following site Health & Safety procedures at all times
Skills:
- Previous FLT experience is essential
- An in-date FLT licence is NOT required, however you must be confident and experienced operating an FLT
- Previous warehouse experience is essential
- Good attention to detail when picking and handling stock
- Comfortable carrying out manual handling duties
- Able to work effectively within a busy warehouse
- Reliable with good attendance and timekeeping
- Good communication skills and able to work as part of a team
