Novara People are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Shipley. Our client is a leading manufacturer supplying bespoke products to the construction, infrastructure and utility sectors. With a strong reputation for quality and innovation, they are looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to support their warehouse and production operations. This is a varied role combining warehouse duties with forklift truck operation. The successful candidate will play a key part in ensuring materials and finished products are moved safely and efficiently throughout the site while supporting the smooth running of the warehouse.
Hours: Monday to Friday 12:00pm - 8:45pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating an FLT to move materials and finished products safely around site
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Picking and preparing customer orders for dispatch
- Supplying materials to production departments
- Booking stock in and out of the warehouse
- Carrying out general warehouse duties, including packing and palletising products
- Assisting with stock takes and maintaining accurate stock levels
- Completing daily FLT safety checks
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
- Adhering to all company health and safety procedures
- Supporting colleagues across the warehouse and production departments when required
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse experience is essential
- Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (essential)
- Experience within a manufacturing environment is advantageous
- Good attention to detail
- Strong organisational skills
- Reliable with a positive work ethic
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
