We are currently recruiting for a Production / Assembly Operative to join a well-established manufacturing business with an excellent reputation for producing high-quality lighting solutions for commercial and industrial environments. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and is looking to build a long-term career within a supportive and growing business.

The Role

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am - 4:45pm (30-minute unpaid lunch break)

Working as part of the production team, you will be responsible for assembling electrical products to a high standard while supporting general warehouse operations. Full training will be provided; however, previous assembly or production experience would be advantageous.

Duties Include:

  • Assembling products using hand and power tools
  • Wiring plugs and completing basic electrical assembly work
  • Following work instructions and production specifications
  • Carrying out quality checks throughout the assembly process
  • Picking and packing finished products
  • Supporting general warehouse duties as required
  • Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
  • Working as part of a busy production team to meet daily targets

Skills:

  • Previous production, assembly or warehouse experience is desirable
  • Confidence using hand tools
  • Good attention to detail
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Reliable with excellent timekeeping
  • Able to work well in a team
