At Novanta, you work on technology used in medical devices, advanced manufacturing, and robotics. This role suits a recent graduate who wants to build practical skills quickly and progress into engineering.

What you will do:
  • Assemble precision mechanical and electronic components to tight tolerances
  • Work from drawings, schematics, and work instructions to build and test assemblies
  • Support modification, rework, and testing of sub-assemblies
  • Identify and report issues, including raising non-conformance reports (NCRs)
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and quality-focused workspace
  • Contribute to team tasks and continuous improvement activity
What you bring:
  • Degree in Physics, Chemistry, or Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical Engineering
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances
  • Good communication skills and a willingness to learn quickly
  • Self-motivated with a team-first mindset
  • Organised, reliable, and comfortable working in a structured production environment
  • Basic MS Office skills
