As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and delivering precision components that enable these innovations to perform at the highest level.
This is a hands-on engineering position where you will work on complex, high-precision components in a collaborative, fast-paced manufacturing environment. If you enjoy taking designs from concept through to production and solving real-world engineering challenges, this is a role where you can make a tangible impact.
What you will be doing:
Design and develop precision mechanical components using CAD tools such as SolidWorksProduce detailed engineering drawings, tolerance stacks, and technical documentation to support manufacturing and quality requirementsLead validation activities, from test planning to data analysis and interpretationWork closely with manufacturing, quality, and suppliers to improve process capability and product performanceDrive root cause analysis on complex issues across prototype and production stagesContribute to design reviews, providing clear and practical engineering recommendationsWhat you will bring: Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)Strong experience with precision design, GD&T, and tolerance analysisProficiency with CAD tools (SolidWorks preferred)Experience working in a precision manufacturing or high-complexity production environmentAnalytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilityA hands-on approach and the ability to collaborate across functionsWhy Join Novanta?
