The Opportunity

We are looking for a practical and proactive Facilities Technician to join our Taunton team. This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same. You will be responsible for supporting the safe management of site waste streams while helping maintain the facilities, infrastructure and equipment that keep production running smoothly. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working across different areas of a manufacturing site and taking ownership of important operational activities.

What you will be doing:

  • Managing hazardous and non-hazardous waste streams
  • Coordinating waste and recycling collections
  • Supporting environmental and regulatory compliance activities
  • Performing preventative maintenance tasks
  • Conducting site inspections and equipment checks
  • Supporting EHS initiatives and site improvement projects
  • Assisting with chemical handling and material movements
  • Maintaining accurate compliance and maintenance records

Working Pattern

Alternate shifts: Week 1: 6:00am to 2:00pm Monday to Thursday, 6:00am to 12:00pm Friday Week 2: 2:00pm to 10:00pm Monday to Thursday, 2:00pm to 6:00pm Friday
