The Administrative Assistant is a detailed professional responsible for aiding in the efficient day-to-day operations of the Clinical team for Dr. Edwards and providing full administrative support to the Surgery Scheduler.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Create, maintain, and enter information into our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
  • Aid in scheduling surgeries for Dr. Edwards and his team.
  • Assist Surgery Scheduler with special projects.
  • Work both independently and under specific direction.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education/Qualification Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Able to be organized and prioritise work efficiently; high ability to multi-task.
  • Present a professional demeanor.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Windows, Excel and Word.
  • Know the definitions of fundamental computer terms related to application software and desktop PCs.
  • Know how to manage electronic files.
  • Know how to print electronic documents and reports.

Physical/Mental Demands:

  • Able to read, write and communicate in English.
  • Have cognitive skills for math, decision making and excellent communication skills.
  • Work in a temperature-controlled environment.
  • Potential for contact with chemicals, blood-borne pathogens, and exposure to infectious disease.
  • Able to lift 25 pounds using proper lifting techniques several times during shift.

Job Type & Schedule:

  • Job Type: Part-time, 20 hours a week.
  • Work Location: In person, Franklin, WI.
  • Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday.
