QA/QC Engineer – Data Centre London
Permanent role £45,000 - £55,000 plus excellent benefits
We are working with a leading construction company who work on high profile projects across London. We are looking for an experienced QA/QC Engineer to join a high-performing project team in London. You will ensure that every aspect of construction meets the highest quality standards, working closely with project teams and client representatives to deliver high quality across all project phases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage all QA/QC documentation for the project, including certificates, calibration records, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports, and site instructions.
- Establish inspection and testing standards, oversee testing methods, and maintain high quality for all processes.
- Review material quality on site, ensure compliance with project specifications, and collaborate with procurement to maintain high standards of materials.
- Supervise implementation of test and inspection schedules, coordinate quality audits, and ensure adherence to procedures.
- Support training initiatives to ensure employees are knowledgeable about quality standards, and collaborate with contractors and suppliers to maintain quality across all systems.
- Ensure safe handling and storage of materials, including hazardous materials, and perform scheduled quality audits.
- Analyse products and non-conformance processes, evaluate documentation, and prepare monthly performance reports.
- Review and monitor all project activities to ensure compliance with quality requirements and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
- Develop and maintain Inspection Test Plans and checklists based on project specifications.
- Liaise with project teams and clients for material submissions, audits, and site inspections.
The ideal candidate will have a degree or equivalent in Engineering and a proven track record of relevant experience. Strong troubleshooting, organisational and time management skills.
