We are working with a project management and building surveying consultancy who, due to business growth, are looking for a Senior Project Manager to work with multiple clients.
The Role:
We are looking for a Senior Project Manager with a background in Quantity Surveying (QS) or Building Surveying (BS) to lead and manage multiple commercial projects, including data centre developments. The role involves end-to-end project management, client liaison, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a portfolio of commercial projects, with a focus on data centres.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, cost plans, and financial reporting.
- Provide expert advice on building surveying, construction, and project management matters.
- Manage procurement, contracts, and tender processes.
- Coordinate and collaborate with clients, design teams, and contractors to ensure successful delivery.
- Monitor project progress, quality, and compliance with health & safety regulations.
- Prepare progress reports, project updates, and provide clear communication to clients.
- Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure timelines and budgets are maintained.
Skills & Experience:
- Qualified Quantity Surveyor (RICS) or Building Surveyor (RICS or equivalent).
- Proven experience in project management within commercial construction, including data centres.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement, and cost management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
