We are working with a leading construction company who work on high profile projects across London who are looking for a skilled Senior Engineer to manage construction projects on site, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. You will take ownership of technical requirements, coordinate teams, and ensure all work aligns with project drawings, specifications, and Building Regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day site engineering operations, including RFIs, Submittals, Shop Drawings, and Design Team Workshops.
- Implement and monitor quality control measures in line with the BCAR plan.
- Collaborate with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, and quantity surveyors throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support the Project Manager/Contracts Manager to deliver projects on schedule, within budget, and to a high standard.
- Identify information gaps, develop practical solutions, and work closely with project and design teams to resolve issues.
- Maintain excellent relationships across the construction project team and subcontractors.
The ideal candidate will have a degree or equivalent in Engineering or related discipline. Strong knowledge of various construction types and competent in set-out, survey and level, and temporary works coordination.
