The Senior Operations Manager will lead the operational delivery of complex MEP and infrastructure projects across multiple European locations. This role sits within the operations function and is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of engineering and construction activities across a portfolio of multi-site infrastructure projects. The position is suited to an experienced project or site operations professional looking to step into a broader regional delivery role, with clear progression potential into senior operational leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead operational delivery across multiple MEP and infrastructure projects throughout Europe
  • Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities to ensure safe and efficient execution
  • Manage multi-disciplinary project teams including subcontractors, site teams, and technical specialists
  • Ensure delivery aligns with programme schedules, budgets, and quality standards
  • Maintain strong health, safety, environmental, and compliance standards across all project sites
  • Support development and improvement of operational processes, reporting, and delivery frameworks
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, suppliers, and delivery partners
  • Assist with commercial oversight including cost tracking, subcontractor coordination, and forecasting
  • Identify operational risks and support mitigation strategies across active projects
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in delivery efficiency, technical performance, and project outcomes
Candidate Profile
  • Background in construction, engineering, or infrastructure project delivery (strong MEP exposure essential)
  • Experience in site-based or multi-project operations across regional or multi-country environments
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and building services systems within complex infrastructure projects
  • Experience in data centres, utilities, healthcare, pharma, or industrial environments advantageous
  • Proven ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and manage operational delivery at scale
  • Strong commercial awareness including budgets, subcontractor management, and programme control
  • Strong understanding of health & safety and quality management in construction environments
  • Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management capability
  • Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline preferred
  • Fluent English required; additional European languages beneficial
