We are working with a leading construction company who work on high profile projects across London. We are currently looking for an experienced Technical Services Manager to join a high performing project team working on a Data Centre project. The role is to manage the successful delivery of MEPS systems across all projects from specification compliance through to successful testing, commissioning and handover of services.
Role Responsibilities
- Lead the selection, performance management and escalation of M&E subcontractors and trade partners from tender through delivery.
- Drive a best-in-class safety culture, ensuring full compliance with Safety, Environmental and Quality Management Systems.
- Build, resource and lead high-performing M&E / Technical Services teams, promoting inclusivity, accountability and professional development.
- Review tenders and M&E packages to ensure cost efficiency, technical compliance and commercial robustness.
- Manage escalated variations, programme and technical issues in collaboration with Project and Commercial teams.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with M&E consultants, utilities and key stakeholders to support tender success and project delivery.
- Oversee M&E delivery across projects, ensuring compliance with QMS, BCAR and industry standards.
- Lead commissioning, handover and close-out to ensure successful project completion.
- Provide senior technical input at key meetings and support projects as required, including M&E coordination when needed.
The ideal candidate will have a Degree or equivalent in Building Services or similar or a Qualified trade (M&E) discipline. Proven track record of seeing projects through to completion and an understanding of the design requirements and client brief.
