We are supporting a leading global consultancy operating in the mission critical sectors as they continue to expand their Cost & Commercial Management team in London. This is an excellent opportunity for a Cost Manager to work on major mission-critical projects while collaborating with international teams across Europe. You will work closely with senior leadership and be part of a growing Cost & Commercial Management team, supporting the delivery of high-profile data centre developments.
The Cost Manager will support the delivery of CSA cost management across projects or key components within larger programmes. The role requires strong technical foundations and the ability to contribute across the full project lifecycle. You will also play a key role in supporting project delivery, developing your technical expertise, and building client relationships.
Key responsibilities:- Support CSA Cost & Commercial Management across multiple projects
- Assist in delivering cost management assignments or components of larger programmes
- Work closely with contractors, consultants, clients and stakeholders
- Produce financial reports, forecasts and budget tracking
- Identify and escalate project risks or issues
- Analyse cost data and documentation to support decision-making
- Ensure compliance with internal risk management and governance processes
- Contribute to continuous improvement within the cost management function
- Support collaboration across wider project teams
- Experience in cost management within construction or infrastructure
- Strong stakeholder communication skills
- Experience supporting projects from inception through to completion
- Ability to analyse cost data and contribute to recommendations
- Understanding of data centres or highly technical project environments (preferred)
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline
- Working towards or interested in professional qualification (e.g. RICS)
- Experience in Data Centres or similar technical sectors is advantageous
