We are seeking an inspirational Pastoral Support Officer to join our team. You will be a vital presence in school – championing attendance, culture and behaviour and wellbeing, breaking down barriers to learning and helping young people to see possibilities beyond what they thought possible.
Key elements of the role include:
- Building purposeful, trusting relationships that inspire students to aim high and take pride in themselves
- Providing targeted pastoral support to improve behaviour, attendance and engagement
- Working closely with families, Heads of Year and external agencies to remove barriers to learning
- Supporting behaviour interventions, reintegration plans and safeguarding processes
- Being a visible, proactive presence across the school day, modelling high standards and care
