Newark Academy is seeking a professional, calm and organised Designated Safeguarding Lead and Alternative Provision Lead.
The Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) holds operational lead responsibility for safeguarding and child protection across the Academy, ensuring compliance with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE - current guidance) and local safeguarding partnership arrangements.
The Trust and school are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and we expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All staff will be required to undergo an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check in line with DfE requirements.
