The Garibaldi School is an academy in the Nova Education Trust. It is a successful and 11-18 school which serves its local community well by providing a first-rate education for all its students. In 2019, The Garibaldi School was placed number 1 in Mansfield and 6th overall in Nottinghamshire for its Progress 8 results.
We have created a safe environment where students can feel comfortable, well supported and confident. Our philosophy is based on developing pride in our students for themselves, the school and their community. They are encouraged to have respect for each other and the staff that support them. Ultimately, we expect them to aim high and achieve well.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, passionate, motivated and dynamic qualified teacher to provide general cover. You will have good understanding of effective teaching and learning as well as understanding how to engage and motivate students. You will be hard working, enthusiastic and want students to love learning. You will share an understanding that all members of staff have a collective responsibility to ensure that every student achieves the best of their ability.

This role is offered on a flexible, casual and temporary basis according to the needs of the school and in conjunction with the availability of candidates. Candidates will join a pool of our own, school employed supply teachers.
