Description of role:
We are looking to recruit a full-time and permanent Product Manager for Primerdesign based 2-3 days from our Manchester headquarters. The Product Manager is responsible for ensuring customers can and do gain value from our products, and understanding and interpreting new ways for us to create value.
Key areas of responsibility:
- Product Management: Owning and defining the product vision and strategy for the segment, ensuring that this resonates with users, meets user needs and aligns to the company objectives and priorities.
- Creating the strategic product roadmap and communicating it across the business.
- Discovery: Evaluating opportunities and determining what gets built and delivered to customers through the Gateway process.
- Delivery: Managing customer feedback backlog and user stories, prioritising based on a deep understanding of acceptance and perceived value from the customer.
Qualifications, Skills and Abilities:
- Behaviours: Customer focused, strategic thinker, self-starter with excellent collaboration and communication skills, technically curious, empathetic, and curious.
- Qualifications: Life science degree (Genetics, Biochemistry, Biology, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or similar), at least 5 years Product Management experience within a technical field, experience in molecular biology, and experience in infectious diseases preferable.
Expectation of up to 30-40% travel – meeting customers and events globally as required.
