About the Role
The client’s legal team requires an experienced UK-qualified litigator on a contract basis to project manage a complex dispute project. This consultant will sit between external counsel and the business, ensuring each case progresses on track. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a large litigation portfolio within a financial services MNC.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Primary responsibility for managing the case dispute portfolio
- Triaging and managing cases according to a clear strategy and timeline
- Acting as the key liaison between external counsel and internal stakeholders
- Helping control external legal spend
- Freeing the in-house legal team from day-to-day litigation management
Whom They’re Looking For
- 7+ PQE litigation lawyer, ideally with financial services disputes experience
- UK-qualified solicitor or barrister with a current practising certificate
- Experience handling disputes in retail banking, wealth management or mortgage lending preferred
- Experience from private practice and/or in-house environments
- Commercial, pragmatic and confident working with senior stakeholders
