About NOVA: NOVA Wealth is a fast-growing start-up looking to change the face of financial advice and the way it's delivered in the UK. We firmly believe that a human adviser needs to be at the heart of every client relationship; however, by leveraging technology, we can empower our advisers to deliver higher levels of service and cut out a lot of the day-to-day admin that gets in the way. At our core, we're here to build a game changer in the advice industry that delivers better customer outcomes, at a lower cost, for more people. Through customer-centric advisers supported by our innovative Lifeline technology, we empower our customers to go beyond just making smarter financial decisions to living the lives they dream of.

About the role: Operations is the engine of our business and plays a critical role in our customers' experience. In this role, you will play an important part right at the start of a customer's relationship with us, working with them and their other financial providers to collect the vital information we need about their accounts to start our analysis. You will also own preparation for their annual review check-in meetings. As you develop knowledge of our and other providers' processes, you will be able to help develop and implement new, more efficient processes that will speed up our onboarding journey and create a better experience for our customers.

What you'll be doing:

  • Client Onboarding & Data Gathering: Gather key personal/financial information from clients and other financial providers.
  • Annual Review Prep: Ownership of preparing data/information for client check-in meetings.
  • Process Innovation: Build a deep understanding of workflows to identify bottlenecks and help design faster, smarter, tech-enabled onboarding experiences.
  • Systems & Data Integrity: Maintain immaculate records across our internal platforms and systems.
  • Client & Team Support: Serve as a point of contact for operational queries from both clients and our team.
  • Compliance & Excellence: Learn key FCA regulatory requirements to ensure all operational tasks remain compliant.
  • Culture & Environment: Help maintain an organised, welcoming office space at Farringdon Street and act as a culture ambassador within our growing team.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 1-3 years of professional work experience (operations, customer success, or financial services experience is a plus).
  • Education: GCSE English & Maths grade 4-9 (C-A*) or equivalent.
  • Curious & Motivated: A genuine interest in personal finance and a drive to build your knowledge in fintech.
  • Great Communicator: Highly empathetic, patient, and able to build trust quickly with clients and teammates alike.
  • Detail-Oriented & Organized: Exceptional time management skills with a high degree of precision when managing multitasking pipelines.
  • Proactive Problem-Solver: Quick to learn, comfortable with ambiguity, and driven to take initiative when challenges arise.
  • Team Player: Able to balance professionalism with a sense of fun in a scale-up environment.

Unfortunately, NOVA cannot provide sponsorship for students from abroad. Therefore, if you do not have full entitlement to work in the UK, we kindly ask that you refrain from applying for this position. Thank you for your understanding.

You'll feel right at home if you're:

  • Helpful: Random acts of kindness make the workplace a better place, so go out of your way to be helpful and give people reasons to smile.
  • Straightforward: Life is complicated enough. Don't make it harder for yourself or others. Sometimes the simplest approach works wonders.
  • Bold: Every great business started with a flash of inspiration. If you've got a great idea, don't keep it to yourself.

All applicants are asked to submit a brief cover letter explaining their enthusiasm for pursuing a career in wealth management. Additionally, applicants are encouraged to share any relevant experiences or skills that demonstrate their suitability for the role.

Benefits:
