Are you looking for the next step in your Childcare career? Due to an increase in capacity, we are excited to be recruiting for an Early Years Teacher to join our team.

About the Early Years Teacher role:

  • Hours: Full time - Monday - Friday, variable hours between 7:15 am-6:00 pm
  • Salary: £24,000 - £27,000 pa

We require you to have:

  • Experience of working within EYFS
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • The ability to understand and adhere to policies and practices of the business
  • If you should hold a relevant and approved QTS for working with Early Years or EYPS/EYTS

Responsibilities for the Early Years Teacher:

  • Provide high standards of quality within the nursery including the environment, resources and experiences offered to children
  • Observe, support and extend children’s learning through planning appropriately for children using the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum for guidance
  • Maintain accurate and effective children’s records, both managing own key group and overseeing general learning
  • Support the team to ensure high quality of teaching and learning is consistent
  • Ensure all rooms within the nursery offer high quality continuous provision
  • Work with the head of nursery and the management team to enable a sustainable progress plan
  • Work with the team to reflect on practice and develop knowledge and understanding
