LWC are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Apprentice to join their dynamic team. This is an incredible opportunity to join the UK's largest drinks distributor! In the role you will incorporate study and complete a Level 2 in Warehousing. The role involves working in a team to ensure the smooth efficient running of the warehouse. You will pick, check orders, deal with customer contact effectively and other basic warehousing duties.
Key responsibilities:
- To pick and check orders
- To work efficiently and effectively as part of a team
- To keep the work area clean and tidy
- To maintain high levels of health and safety standards
- To achieve the targets and job standards set out by the Warehouse Manager
- To be communicative between management and the rest of the depot staff
- Duties involve regular repetitive light, medium and heavy lifting
- Good standard of numeracy as well as attention to detail when picking and checking products
- To deal with all customer contact effectively and courteously, in line with LWC Drinks' policies and procedures
- To load and unload company vehicles as well as assist with depot deliveries
Learning & Development:
- Level 2 Supply Chain Warehouse Apprenticeship Standard
- Attending training sessions and completing assignments as part of the apprenticeship.
- End-point assessment
- Employee Rights and Responsibilities (ERR)
- Personal Learning and Thinking Skills (PLTS)
- Functional Skills in maths and English, if required
- 20% off the job training
Requirements:
- GCSE in English (grade 3 or above)

- Practical & hands-on - enjoys staying busy and learning by doing.

- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
