SEN Tutor Hours: Full-Time, Permanent, Mon-Fri Location: Oldbury Salary: NMW – £30,000 pa, (depending on experience, skills & qualifications) Are you an experienced SEN tutor looking for a new role? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a SEN tutor based in our Oldbury centre. As an SEN tutor, your role will be to support small groups of learners in the classroom with their functional skills & Employability to help develop their independence and improve the skills of young people for their individual futures. The learner’s individual needs can range from mild to moderate educational needs and/or disabilities. You will have a passion for working with students with special educational needs and will be committed to ensuring that all students have access to high quality education and support. Key Responsibilities: * To Develop and assess to the appropriate levels to support the learners’ ability to work confidently, effectively and independently in life and work * Develop delivery in order to maximise progression opportunities for learners. * Support the learner with their additional needs whilst encouraging and motivating them to attain high levels of achievements. * To plan and deliver a creative curriculum that meets the needs of individual students * Build effective relationships with learners, parents/carers and staff. * Achieve company KPI’s and Individual Performance Plan Requirements: * Minimum of 2 year’s experience in 14-24 provision. * Full Teaching Qualification (PGCE, QTS, PTLLS, DTLLS,) * Experience of teaching students within the field of Autism and/or Special Educational Needs (SEN) * To be a patient, resilient and motivated individual. * Excellent communication & interpersonal skills * Have vision, innovation and passion for teaching and learning. * Experience, knowledge and understanding of safeguarding processes Employee Benefits: * 25 days holiday entitlement increasing to 30 with length of service, * Holiday Purchase Scheme, allowing you to purchase an additional 2 weeks holiday per year. * Employee Assistance Programme, 24/7 support for you, direct family members and dependents over the age of 16. * Employee Referral Scheme, potential to earn up to £500 if you refer somebody we employ. * Cycle to Work Scheme. * Employee Discount Scheme Significant savings on essential and everyday purchases through instant vouchers, reloadable cards and cashback.
