Nursery Administrator LOCATION: Wolverhampton (WV10 9TT) JOB TYPE: Part-time, Permanent HOURS: 30 hrs per week SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday (No weekends) SALARY: Min Wage (dependent on age and experience) Brambles Day Nursery is looking to welcome a well-experienced and efficient Nursery Administrator to join our highly qualified, friendly dedicated team. The role requires someone who has the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment with good organisational and administration skills. The Nursery Administrator will be required to provide efficient and professional administrative support to the nursery, collaborate with the Nursery Management Team to assist with daily tasks, ensuring a safe, secure, and stimulating environment for children. The role involves close cooperation with colleagues, parents, carers, and other professionals, with a commitment to safeguarding and promoting an inclusive environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Collaborating directly with staff, professionals, and parents. Managing new client enquiries, logging information, checking availability, organising viewings, and following up. Supporting the recruitment process by managing vacancies, placing advertisements, and arranging interviews. Handling correspondence, drafting routine letters, typing reports, minutes, spreadsheets, etc. Managing confidential company correspondence. Maintaining up-to-date organisational charts. Performing telephone and reception duties, taking messages. Ordering and distributing deliveries. Assisting in organising company events. Keeping records up to date and compliant. Submitting funding details to the portal. Skill Requirements: You will need to be computer literate with proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Gmail, and updating websites/social media. You must be willing to complete necessary CPD training. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent organisational skills and telephone manner Proven office administrative experience Ability to work on your own initiative. Hardworking, punctual, and reliable. Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work Knowledge and experience in nursery settings.
