Are you a Motor Vehicle Tutor looking for a new role? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Motor Vehicle Tutor based in our Birmingham centre. You do not need to be a qualified teacher or tutor; all of the required training will be given to allow you to share your wide experience with our learners to ensure their success. You will, however, have the drive to work with young people supporting them to develop valuable skills for their future.
As an MV tutor, you will use your vocational knowledge to support our learners to access our Motor Vehicle provision and gain valuable skills and knowledge to support their progression into the Motor Vehicle Industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan individual learning to meet learner needs and ensure lesson plans are prepared prior to learners attending and are linked to overarching Schemes of Work. (full training given)
- Deliver relevant Motor Vehicle qualifications from level 1 to level 3 in either classroom-based or workplace environment (full training will be given)
- Undertake pastoral duties and support learners on an individual basis through academic or personal difficulties
- Plan, prepare and deliver vocational sessions alongside all other qualifications
- Regularly assess learners' work to awarding body and Ofsted CIF criteria.
Requirements:
- Relevant Vocational and industry experience as appropriate for the area of delivery.
- Level 3 vocational qualification (or evidence of occupational competence).
- GCSE grade C or above or equivalent in literacy, numeracy, ICT skills.
- Communicate to a range of audiences (verbal, written, using ICT or other media as appropriate).
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure.
- Full, clean UK Driving License.
