Learner Recruitment Consultant Contract: Full Time, Permanent, (37.5 hrs per wk, Mon-Fri, 8.30am – 4.30pm) Location: Clacton Salary: Β£24,000 – Β£28,000 pa (depending on experience & qualifications) Are you looking for a new exciting role? Are you passionate about working with young people and supporting them in achieving their career goals? If so, we have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Learner Recruitment Consultant. As an LRC you will be required to support the business through the development of strong relationships with employers. Increase opportunities for learners to gain high quality work experience placements and Apprenticeship opportunities. To support and assist the effective delivery of Study Programmes, Traineeships, High Needs and Apprenticeships provision. The key measure of success in the role will be against the achievement of company and contractual KPIs Due to the nature of the role candidates must be able to drive and have access to a car. Key Responsibilities: Support with localised marketing activities and events as required. Conduct a full interview to fully gauge the applicants career aspirations, barriers to learning and prior attainment and ensure these are recorded in detail. Liaise with Parents/Carers and support/referral services as appropriate to ensure they understand the programme content that they are referring to. Liaise with the Employer Recruitment Service to ensure candidates are appropriately matched to Apprenticeship and Traineeship vacancies where applicable. Ensure regular contact with any assigned LA’s and referral partners to ensure an ongoing flow of referrals to the services. Provide high quality IAG to learners to ensure they fully understand the range of services delivered by the company, the role they play in training and any grants or funding available to them. Requirements Relevant experience in successfully developing business relationships. Previous experience of working to KPIs. Previous experience in an IAG or coaching role would be preferred but is not essential. Exceptional time and diary management is essential as you will be managing a busy schedule. An understanding of safeguarding and Keeping Children Safe in Education is an advantage, however full training will be given. Passionate about supporting young people and ensuring everyone has the opportunity to improve their life chances through an appropriate education route.
