Functional Skills Tutor – Wolverhampton
Location: Wolverhampton
Salary: £24,000 – £30,000 per annum (depending on experience & qualifications)
Are you a Functional Skills Tutor looking for a new role?
We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Functional Skills Tutor based in our Wolverhampton centre.
As a Functional Skills Tutor you will be supporting students to achieve their functional skills qualifications in both Maths and English up to Level 2. We are looking for a Functional Skills Tutor who can motivate, engage and inspire our learners to achieve their full potential whilst on our programme.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivery of Functional Skills English, Maths and ICT up to Level 2.
- Plan individual learning to meet learner needs and ensure lesson plans are prepared.
- Achieve company KPI s and Individual Performance Plan
- Plan embedded learning for groups and individuals
- Develop delivery in order to maximise progression opportunities for learners.
- Create conditions in the training centre(s) which will help to develop the abilities, skill and confidence of each learner.
- Regularly assess learners\’ work.
Requirements:
- Experience of delivering Functional Skills or Maths and English to Level 2
- A minimum of 2 years teaching experience in 14-19 provision.
- Full Teaching Qualifications i.e. Cert Ed, C&G 7407, CTTLS, DTLLS
- Passion & desire to teach
- Willingness to undertake any relevant Teaching Qualifications necessary.
Full, clean UK Driving License
