We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Functional Skills Tutor.
As a Functional Skills Tutor, you will support students in achieving their functional skills qualifications in English and Maths up to Level 2. We are seeking a motivated, engaging, and inspiring tutor to help learners reach their full potential during our programme.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Functional Skills English and Maths up to Level 2.
- Plan individual learning to meet learner needs and prepare lesson plans.
- Achieve company KPIs and individual performance targets.
- Plan embedded learning for groups and individuals.
- Develop delivery methods to maximise progression opportunities for learners.
- Create a supportive environment in training centres to develop learners\’ abilities, skills, and confidence.
- Regularly assess learners\’ work.
Requirements:
- Experience in delivering Functional Skills or Maths and English up to Level 2.
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in 14-19 provision.
- Full teaching qualifications, e.g., Cert Ed, C&G 7407, CTTLS, DTLLS.
- Passion and desire to teach.
- Willingness to undertake relevant teaching qualifications if necessary.
