Are you a Functional Skills Tutor looking for a new role? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Functional Skills Tutor based in our Birmingham centre. As a Functional Skills Tutor, you will be supporting students to achieve their functional skills qualifications in both Maths, English and ICT up to Level 2. We are looking for a Functional Skills Tutor who can motivate, engage and inspire our learners to achieve their full potential whilst on our programme.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivery of Functional Skills English up to Level 2.
  • Plan individual learning to meet learner needs and ensure lesson plans are prepared.
  • Achieve company KPI’s and Individual Performance Plan.
  • Plan embedded learning for groups and individuals.
  • Develop delivery in order to maximise progression opportunities for learners.
  • Create conditions in the training centre(s) which will help to develop the abilities, skill and confidence of each learner.
  • Regularly assess learners' work.
Requirements:
  • Experience of delivering Functional Skills English to Level 2.
  • A Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in 14-19 provision.
  • Full Teaching Qualifications i.e. Cert Ed, C&G 7407, CTTLS, DTLLS.
  • Passion & desire to teach.
  • Willingness to undertake any relevant Teaching Qualifications necessary.
  • Full, clean UK Driving License.
