We are currently working on behalf of a leading business in the sports turf and amenity sector, to recruit a Sports Turf Amenity Specialist to cover a Northern territory, Scotland. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a sports turf background looking to take the next step into a commercially focused, customer-facing role while still utilising their technical expertise.
The Opportunity
You will join a well established and highly regarded team of technical specialists, working closely with customers across a diverse and geographically varied region including: Aberdeenshire, Banffshire, Morayshire, Inverness-shire, Tayside, Perthshire, and The Highlands. This is a remote based role with regular travel across the territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver sales growth by achieving and exceeding targets
- Manage and develop your territory through effective planning and customer engagement
- Identify and win new business opportunities
- Provide expert technical advice and product guidance
- Support and implement seasonal campaigns and promotions
- Build long term, trusted relationships with customers
- Contribute ideas to drive business performance and innovation
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have strong knowledge of sports turf or amenity practices
- Be confident in building relationships and communicating with customers
- Be self motivated, organised, and target driven
- Have strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Be comfortable working independently in a field-based role
- A relevant qualification (e.g. sports turf, BASIS or FACTS) is desirable, but not essential — full training will be provided for the right candidate.
