We are currently working on behalf of a leading business in the sportsturf and amenity sector, to recruit a Sports Turf Amenity Specialist to cover a Northern territory. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a sports turf background looking to take the next step into a commercially focused, customer-facing role while still utilising their technical expertise.

The Opportunity

You will join a well established and highly regarded team of technical specialists, working closely with customers across a diverse and geographically varied region including: Aberdeenshire, Banffshire, Morayshire, Inverness-shire, Tayside, Perthshire, and The Highlands. This is a remote based role with regular travel across the territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver sales growth by achieving and exceeding targets
  • Manage and develop your territory through effective planning and customer engagement
  • Identify and win new business opportunities
  • Provide expert technical advice and product guidance
  • Support and implement seasonal campaigns and promotions
  • Build long term, trusted relationships with customers
  • Contribute ideas to drive business performance and innovation

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Have strong knowledge of sports turf or amenity practices
  • Be confident in building relationships and communicating with customers
  • Be self motivated, organised, and target driven
  • Have strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Be comfortable working independently in a field-based role

A relevant qualification (e.g. sports turf, BASIS or FACTS) is desirable, but not essential β€” full training will be provided for the right candidate.
