We are looking for an experienced payroll and benefits professional to manage our clients payroll operations across the UK and Ireland. This role is key to ensuring compliance, driving process improvements, and delivering a seamless experience for employees and stakeholders.
Key duties include:
- Oversee end-to-end payroll for UK & Ireland, ensuring compliance with HMRC, Revenue, and audit controls.
- Manage and optimise employee benefits, liaising with brokers, insurers, and platforms.
- Partner with Finance and external vendors to ensure accurate payroll funding, reconciliation, and reporting.
- Drive automation, system upgrades, and policy updates. Support projects such as M&A or new tool implementation.
- Stay up to date on tax and pension legislation, ensuring compliance and mitigating risks like payroll fraud and GDPR breaches.
Salary & Benefits:
- Salary range: 38,000- 45,000
- Flexitime core hours between 09:30-15:00 (14:45 on a Friday)

What we are looking for:
- 5-7 years experience managing UK payroll & benefits (Ireland knowledge a plus)
- Strong understanding of UK employment tax and benefits legislation
- Experience with systems such as Moorepay, Workday, ADP, SD Worx, or SAP
- Vendor and stakeholder management skills
- Ideally, exposure to global or matrixed organisations
- Payroll qualifications (e.g., CIPP, IPASS) desirable
- High accuracy, analytical skills, and attention to detail
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management
