About the Role: As a Senior Research & Insight Executive, you will take ownership of quantitative and qualitative research projects from initial brief through to final presentation. Working closely with senior stakeholders and clients, you'll be responsible for developing effective research approaches, analysing data, identifying key insights, and delivering commercially focused recommendations. A key area of focus will be supporting and managing brand tracking programmes while helping clients better understand their audiences, markets, and competitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage quantitative and qualitative research projects from brief through to delivery.
- Lead and support brand tracking programmes, including questionnaire design, fieldwork coordination, data validation, analysis, and reporting.
- Conduct customer, market, and competitor research using a variety of research tools and platforms.
- Transform complex datasets into clear, engaging insights and strategic recommendations.
- Recommend and explain appropriate research methodologies for different client objectives.
- Manage relationships with panel providers, fieldwork agencies, and research partners.
- Present research findings confidently to both clients and internal teams.
- Produce high-quality reports, presentations, and insight summaries.
- Utilise audience intelligence, market research tools, and AI-assisted approaches to enhance research outcomes.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the agency and support the development of junior team members.
- Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and research innovations.
Skills and Expertise:
- Experience within a research and insight role, ideally within a media, communications, or advertising agency.
- Strong brand tracking experience, including questionnaire development, analysis, reporting, and client presentations.
- Excellent quantitative research and survey analysis skills.
- Experience designing questionnaires, research frameworks, and client-facing reports.
- Strong presentation and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Confidence communicating directly with clients and managing ongoing relationships.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities and deadlines.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work.
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to convert research findings into actionable business recommendations.
