Hybrid (Mon - Wed Office, Thurs - Fri Home)
We are seeking a talented Front-End Web Developer with strong experience in WordPress, particularly with the Bricks Theme Builder and Advanced Custom Fields (ACF). The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating high-performing, visually engaging websites, landing pages, forms, and web content β€” while also handling custom PHP functionality and API integrations to extend site capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
β€’ Build, customize, and maintain WordPress websites using the Bricks Theme Builder.
β€’ Implement and manage Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) for dynamic, custom WordPress functionality.
β€’ Write and maintain custom PHP functions in functions.php to extend WordPress capabilities.
β€’ Develop and integrate APIs for third-party services, plugins, and tools.
β€’ Design and develop responsive, user-friendly landing pages optimized for performance and conversions.
β€’ Create and integrate custom forms, ensuring seamless functionality and tracking.
β€’ Collaborate with designers, content creators, and marketing teams to implement web content and campaigns.
β€’ Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and mobile responsiveness.
β€’ Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in WordPress themes and plugins.
β€’ Stay up-to-date with WordPress, front-end, and web development best practices.
Skills & Qualifications
β€’ Proven experience as a Front-End Web Developer with a portfolio of WordPress projects.
β€’ Strong knowledge of WordPress, Bricks Builder, and ACF.
β€’ Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery, and PHP.
β€’ Experience writing custom PHP functions and integrating third-party APIs.
β€’ Familiarity with using the functions.php file to extend theme functionality.
β€’ Strong understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
β€’ Knowledge of SEO principles and site performance optimization.
β€’ Experience working with design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop) is a plus.
β€’ Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Nice-to-Have Skills
β€’ Knowledge of other WordPress page builders (e.g., Elementor, Oxygen).
β€’ Experience with custom post types, taxonomies, and WordPress hooks/filters.
β€’ Familiarity with marketing tools (CRM, analytics, tracking scripts).
β€’ Basic understanding of Git/version control
