Electrical Maintenance Engineers in Bolton

We are looking for Electrical Maintenance Engineers to work for a client in Bolton\\n\\nJob Role\\n\\nAs an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will ensure that all plant equipment is maintained to maximise productivity and quality in a safe environment.\\n\\nThe role requires you to act on your own initiative referring to Project Engineers for technical or departmental policy advice only when necessary. You will liase with staff from other departments as required to carry out duties and to refer to Process Leaders or other designated staff when necessary concerning potential loss of production, quality problems or health and safety issues.\\n\\nKey Accountabilities\\n\\nTo carry and document routine health and safety checks.\\n\\nProviding technical assistance to production personnel to help with production problems\\n\\nPreparing purchase requisitions to maintain levels of stock parts or parts for particular jobs.\\n\\nTo maintain production plant and equipment.\\n\\nDiagnosing any mechanical or electrical failure through root cause analysis.\\n\\nUndertaking repairs as necessary.\\n\\nChanging worn parts that are reducing the performance of the equipment.\\n\\nDiagnosing when preventative maintenance may be required and to carry out and document the necessary work.\\n\\nLiaising with suppliers when required to repair and / or maintain equipment.\\n\\nTo maintain the site and buildings in good order.\\n\\n·Liaising with the manufacturing management on larger maintenance jobs or projects, and to supervise any subcontractors that may be used to carry out the work.\\n\\nTo assist the Project Engineers in the manufacture of project equipment when required.\\n\\nThe above list is not exhaustive. You will be required to undertake other duties within your capabilities, consistent with this role, to support the needs of the business\\n\\nQualifications, Experience and Skills\\n\\nEssential\\n\\nHNC/HND in Engineering or Electronics or equivalent qualifications\\n\\nCraft apprenticeship or equivalent\\n\\nSound understanding of field demonstrated through previous work experience\\n\\nExperience of computerised maintenance management systems\\n\\nKnowledge of Asset Care programmes is beneficial\\n\\nExperience with pneumatics & hydraulics\\n\\nMotivated and enthusiastic in driving continuous improvements\\n\\nTeam player with good communication skills as well as having the ability to work alone.\\n\\nDesirable\\n\\nGood understanding of the engineering processes required.
