The role involves supporting a mixture of planned and reactive cover requirements across a full range of subject areas. • You will be a reliable and well-organised professional with strong communication skills, able to manage cover provision effectively and build positive relationships with Faculty Leaders, SLT and pastoral staff.
  • You will be reflective, resilient, and open to improving systems and processes.
  • Experience in a school setting is advantageous, whether gained through cover supervision, teaching, mentoring or youth work, as it supports effective navigation of classroom challenges.

  • Have administrative experience.
  • Have experience working in schools or with young people.

  • Demonstrate tact and sensitivity where appropriate.

We can offer you a school where you will receive excellent CPD to further develop your skills, work in a fast-paced but supportive team, and have a highly supportive and hands-on SLT. You will take responsibility for creating a calm and respectful ethos, working with non-teaching pastoral and SEN staff to support our pupils, and we are proud to provide disruption-free learning for our pupils. There is a fantastic extra-curricular programme.

Our schools work as a team and achieve more by sharing than any single school could. Our subject specialists, our Group-wide intranet, our own curriculum and our online learning portal all help us share knowledge and resources, helping to simplify work processes and manage workloads for an improved work-life balance. As a Group, we can reward our staff better: with good career opportunities, better pay, benefits, and ultimately, the satisfaction of helping children to succeed. We invest in our staff wellbeing.
