Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse. This position involves various tasks related to materials handling, shipping and receiving, and maintaining a safe and organised work environment.

Hours of work will normally be , but if all tasks are finished before this then the shift will end. If the shift over runs you will be expected to stay until all tasks are completed.

Duties

  • Load and unload goods from lorries, ensuring all items are handled safely and efficiently.
  • Perform shipping and receiving tasks.
  • Conduct regular equipment checks ensure all machinery is in good working order.
  • Utilise forklifts and other equipment for moving heavy items around the warehouse.
  • Handle materials with care, adhering to safety protocols to prevent accidents.
  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Assist in inventory counts and report discrepancies as necessary.

Experience

  • Previous warehouse experience is highly desirable, with a strong understanding of warehouse operations.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems is advantageous for efficient stock management.
  • Basic math and English skills are required for accurately counting inventory and processing shipments.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed, with a focus on safety practices during all physical tasks.
