Melton Vale Sixth Form College (MV16) is a leading post-16 provider, committed to enabling every student to succeed within a supportive and inclusive sixth-form environment. The role is to provide high-quality reception and administrative support and to act as the first point of contact for students, staff, and visitors to help maintain a welcoming, efficient, and safe College environment.
Responsibilities
- Managing reception duties and handling enquiries.
- Supporting day-to-day administration and acting as the gatekeeper for the College.
- Adhering to visitor, health and safety, and safeguarding procedures; safeguarding is central to this post.
- Working as part of the Business and Operations team and collaborating with colleagues across the College.
- Providing high-quality administrative support and using IT systems effectively.
The working pattern is Monday to Friday, 6 hours per day with exact start and finish times to be agreed with the successful applicant.
Qualifications and Experience
- Strong IT, organisational, and communication skills.
- Experience in reception, finance, or technical administration is desirable.
- Ability to develop wider operational experience.
