The Suthers School are looking to appoint an approachable and talented Behaviour and Standards Manager to join a warm and compassionate environment where every staff member makes a significant contribution to the experience of our students.
Key responsibilities:
- Strengthen the pastoral culture and embed The Suthers Way to maintain a calm, disruption‑free learning environment.
- Support daily behaviour operations, including managing the RR room, contributing to On-Call, and reducing lost learning.
- Work with SLT, pastoral staff, teachers, parents/carers, and external agencies to support students whose behaviour or standards fall below expectations.
- Track, record, and analyse behaviour data using Bromcom and Power BI to inform interventions.
- Develop and implement behaviour strategies, including BPAR processes and targeted interventions.
- Lead or support meetings with parents, contribute to assemblies, CPL, and wider extracurricular life.
- Act as a DSL and first aider, ensuring safeguarding, welfare, confidentiality, and health & safety standards are upheld.
- Build positive relationships with families and agencies while adhering to school policies and procedures.
- Maintain professional development and undertake reasonable duties aligned with the role.
