Responsibilities
- We are looking for additional Examination Invigilators to work with the existing team in the effective supervision of all examinations at Meden in a calm, friendly but authoritative manner.
- The role may also include acting as a Reader, Scribe and Practical Assistant for students who have qualified for access arrangements because of special educational needs and disabilities; therefore, strong literacy skills are required.
- The post would be ideally suited to applicants who feel a sense of responsibility for today’s young people and who are able to work flexible daytime hours, sometimes at short notice.
- Previous experience would be an advantage but full training will be provided and working hours will be negotiated for each exam period.
- Experience of working in a school environment is advantageous but not essential; however, good communication skills and a willingness to learn are essential.
- Full induction training and support will be given to the successful applicant.
- Applicants should have experience of, or a real interest in working with children, in the 11-16 age range.
