Salary: Scale SO1 £33,366-£35,235 pro rata per year (£29,034-£30,661 actual per year)

Contract: Permanent, full time, term time only

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate the strategic planning and day-to-day operations of the alternative provision at Meden School.
  • Provide bespoke, high-quality educational opportunities that support students’ academic progress, personal development, and successful reintegration or progression.
  • Work closely with pastoral staff, external providers, families, and other stakeholders to create personalised learning pathways.
  • Ensure safeguarding compliance and improve outcomes for some of the school’s most vulnerable learners.
  • Collaborate with the Trust and school to promote safeguarding and the welfare of children.
  • Maintain alignment with DfE and safeguarding requirements; all staff undergo a DBS check as part of the recruitment process.
