Salary: Scale 3 Point 5-6 (Β£25,584 - Β£25,989 pro rata per annum, Β£21,967 - Β£22,315 actual per annum)

Contract: Permanent, full time, term time only

We are delighted to offer the opportunity for an Admin Assistant to join our team at The Suthers School.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle general administration tasks including calls, emails, visitor reception, and student enquiries.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential data entry in Bromcom.
  • Manage daily student attendance processes and assist with attendance reporting.
  • Monitor safeguarding concerns related to attendance and refer to the safeguarding team when necessary.
  • Communicate effectively between staff, students, and parents regarding attendance issues.
  • Build positive 1:1 relationships with pupils to support progress toward goals.
  • Process absence messages, update registers, and produce attendance letters.
  • Provide weekly attendance data reports to support pastoral leadership.
  • Offer administrative support for careers activities, including booking events and trips.
  • Collate and track careers data using Compass+ and Unifrog.
  • Manage work experience placements and maintain related databases.
